  • All of our photographers shoot in a photojournalistic and cinematic style while providing guidance and natural posing were appropriate. We also focus on capturing candid moments as they unfold so your images have an easy and authentic feel.

  • Our lead photographer is Andrew Koplinski, if he is not available for your date, one of our collective photographers will be assigned after you reserve your date.

  • We provide a recommended timeline for your wedding along with a questionnaire to get to know you further and provide you an opportunity to outline important information such as your family shot list and any other details.

  • Not only do we design wedding albums, but we shoot the wedding from start to finish with your wedding story in mind. It is our absolute goal to document and celebrate your day with a wedding album that is as authentic and beautiful as the day itself.

    We also provide custom album packages for press printed and heirloom albums, shipped directly to you.

  • It's important to us that you are able to enjoy your photographs however you please so we always deliver high-resolution and logo/watermark free images with full reprint rights.

  • We pride ourselves in our ability to cover so much of the day with one photographer, but a second photographer can be made available depending on the package you choose. Keep in mind that a second photographer is not always necessary nor does it equate to better coverage, so don't feel pressured by any wedding blog that pushes for you to have one.

A Few Words on Our Photography

 

Light

Light is the essence of what makes a photograph, that is why at Lustr Studio we prioritize using professional lights to either emphasize or perfect the natural light. But what happens to a natural light photographer when there is no natural light or the natural light is not very flattering? That is why flash is so important with Lustr, we are able to control and manipulate it. Without flash we are confined to the light that exists around us. Rest assured when you hire Lustr Studio we will make sure you have a beautiful day no matter what the situation is. 

 

Vision

We do not use one single styled “look”, that is why we follow the definition of cinematic. The best movie directors let each story produce the look that will help tell the story, and capture the feeling. We let the feeling of the day and each couple, to help guide our experience to capture you within the environment and to provoke emotion with direction.

“Timeless” is a good definition for our vision. We believe that when you view your album in 15, 30, or 60 years, you will remember the moments fondly and view each image for its beauty and how it captured the day and it’s memories. We do not want you to see the album and think, “where did that trend go?”.

Equipment

Currently we use Sony Alpha cameras and Lens’. Covering ultra-wide to super-telephoto, we use each lens as the base of how we want the image composed. Not just zoom to a proper frame, no, we use each lens in it’s own character, to compress the space, make it feel “real”, or throw the edges to epic!

Lastly for lighting we use professional flashes and lights from the Godox system, Mainly off-camera flash and on-camera. The off-camera being the most important for Lustr to achieve full control over the Sun when it’s behaving badly, & correct for colors in the dark and artificial lights.

We believe that if you can’t control the light around you, the light will control you, and that’s not very comforting with the importance of your special day. When you go with Lustr Studio you can be assured that we will make any day look gorgeous.
